about

My Artwork:

I make sculptures using found or 'foraged' natural materials and re-claimed 'waste' materials. My pieces draw their influence from the processes of decay and regeneration and the relationships between human beings and the natural world.
My artwork sometimes takes the form of site-specific installations which are constructed using materials that occur abundantly in and around the location. Recently I've started to explore growing and harvesting my own materials.
As well as the sculptural stuff, I draw regularly, occasionally work with paint/printmaking and like to experiment with the creative application of appropriate technology and permaculture principles.
